100% Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards in the Awatere and Wairau valleys of Marlborough.
Fruit was processed separately to provide the greatest number of blending options. A proportion of parcels received skin contact to enhance intensity, before the fruit was gently pressed, cold settled and racked for fermentation. Cool fermentation techniques were used to retain purity of flavour and aromatics. After fermentation the wines remained on yeast lees for several months to build mouthfeel.
A pure expression of Marlborough, bursting with aromas of passionfruit, melon and wild nettle. It is powerful and juicy, displaying vibrant grapefruit notes with fantastic mid-palate weight and an integrated acidity.
