100% Shiraz from the Ebenezer Vineyard in the north-west of the Barossa, South Australia. The vines are extremely low yielding, producing a red wine of rich colour and flavour intensity.
Fruit was fermented on skins for 10 days to maximise colour and flavour and then aged for 12 months in French oak hogsheads.
From a vineyard planted in 1855, the wine is deep and vibrant red in colour with complex aromas of dark cherry and hints of black pepper. This is a stylish, fruit driven dry red that displays a wonderful marriage of varietal and site.
