100% Pinot Noir sourced from Montes' own Zapallar Vineyard; a single vineyard in coastal Aconcagua Valley.
Grapes were cold soaked at 10ºC for 5-7 days to extract aroma and colour, especially important for thin-skinned Pinot Noir. Fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and kept on their skins to give structure and colour for another 15-20 days. After malolactic fermentation, 40% was aged in French oak barrels for 10 months.
Lovely bright ruby red in colour with aromas of violets, vanilla and red berries. On the palate, a medium-bodied wine with velvety tannins, fresh acidity, integrated oak and a lingering perfumed finish.
