100% Pinot Noir from vineyards located in the Russian River Valley area of Sonoma County, California.
Fermented in small wooden, open-top vats with manual punch downs to extract good tannin and colour. After fermentation it was basket pressed off the skins and then racked into 60 gallon French oak barrels for 12 months ageing.
Winemaker's Comments
Beautiful bright ruby, with a soft fruity approach. Lovely aromas of red cherries, candied fruit and pecans. The palate has flavours of red liquorice and a touch of plum. Medium-bodied and silky with a perfect balance of structure and acidity.
