A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the 190 hectare vineyard of Château Larose Trintaudon, nestled between the communes of Saint-Julien-de-Beychevelle and Pauillac in Bordeaux.
Fruit was fermented in stainless steel to retain the primary fruit aromas. Then aged in oak for 12 to 14 months, of which 25% was new, adding complexity and roundness to this structured and elegant wine.
On the palate, sweet spices of vanilla, cinnamon and ginger entwine with flavours of dates and dried figs. A racy, incredibly full-bodied and well-structured wine with enormous density and power. Infinite length on the palate with excellent balance between fruit, tannins and acidity.
