59% Grenache, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Pinot Meunier and 7% Shiraz from the winery's own 80 acres of prime Barossa vineyard land, as well as from a select group of grapegrowers.
To retain natural acidity and give zest and crispness on the palate, the grape varieties were picked early in the season. Co-fermentation of several grape varieties and variation in skin contact have produced a rosé with vibrancy and elegance.
Vibrant, bright cerise in colour with good depth. Rose petal and delicate musk perfumes with a little hint of allspice aromatics. The palate is an intriguing combination of delicate and rich; Turkish delight fruit flavours fill the mouth yet is in no sense big or heavy. The very slightest touch of tannin with just the right weight to be mouthfilling, and just the right amount of lightness to be refreshing.
