100% Prosecco from the Treviso winegrowing region in Veneto.
Fruit was picked relatively late and cool-fermented to preserve the delicate aromatics. Both the first and second fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Following the second fermentation the wine was bottled under pressure so that it remained 'frizzante' (lightly sparkling).
Due to the quality of the fruit, this lightly sparkling Prosecco has a lower level of residual sugar than is usual with Prosecco, so it is drier and more drinkable as a result. It is fresh, soft, scented and grapey with delicious lightness and good length.
