100% Malbec from La Consulta and Perdriel vineyards in the Luján de Cuyo region of Mendoza.
A cold pre-fermentation maceration took place for 12 days at a temperature of 8ºC. Fermentation with native yeasts occurred over a period of 17 days in stainless steel tanks, with temperatures ranging between 27-29ºC. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques proceeded a 10 month period of barrel ageing.
An elegant combination of ripe plums, blackberries and violets on the nose, with hints of spicy black pepper, chocolate, vanilla and mocha. Concentrated and rich, with red and black fruit flavours supported by vanilla and tobacco, a fresh acidity and excellent structure and length.
