Made from Malbec grown in Lunlunta and Perdriel vineyards in the Luján de Cuyo region of Mendoza.
A cold pre-fermentation maceration took place for 10 days at a temperature of 8ºC. Fermentation with native yeasts occurred over a period of 10 days in stainless steel tanks, with temperatures ranging between 25-28ºC. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques preceded a 6 month period of barrel ageing.
Intense and concentrated on the nose, with strong floral aromas of violet and rose, combined with cassis and raspberry, and subtle vanilla from the oak ageing. This wine is velvety and full-bodied, with soft, round tannins and a long, persistent finish.
